City's Ladies team went top of the league for the first time this weekend after thrashing Cannock Town 7-0.
A hat-trick from Chantelle Gallagher, two goals from Becky Knight plus strikes from Kate Asher and Kim Barber saw the Potters leap-frog Shrewsbury Town into first place.
Asher remains the club's top scorer with 7 goals while Gallagher now has 6 from the last 8 games.
City top the West Midland Premier Division on goal difference with both Stoke and Shrewsbury on 24 points and also have a game in hand having played nine fixtures so far this season.
Copsewood Coventry, meanwhile, have played just five games so far this campaign but having won all five it will make for an intriguing encounter when the sides clash in two weeks time.
Next week though, the girls will look to defend the Staffordshire County Cup when they make the short-trip to Newcastle Town in the 2nd round of the competition.
