Tony Pulis insists his players are fully focussed on picking up maximum points against Coventry City at the Ricoh Arena this Saturday.

A win for the Potters could see them move back in to the automatic promotion spots ahead of next weekend's crunch clash against fellow promotion hopefuls Bristol City.

However, speaking to stokecityfc.com this morning he admits Coventry aren't to be underestimated.

"I went to watch them against Watford on Saturday and I have to say they were the best side by a country mile.

"They had the majority of the play and they will be very disappointed by the outcome of that game.

"They have players who are on their day can hurt teams, and we will need to be aware of that.

"They are battling down at the bottom of the league and they will be desperate to put to bed any doubts about staying up, so we will have to be on our game."

Watford's defeat last night means the Potters are still just one point off top spot, and despite the 2-1 defeat against Crystal Palace on Monday, Pulis is adamant promotion is definitely achievable.

"There are four games to go, we are third in the table and one point off top. I don't see any need to be negative and down.

"We have to remember who we are and where we have come from. There are some massive clubs in this division and we have beaten most of them this season, and they would love to be in the position we are in.

"There are four games to go and we are right in the mix. I am positive and I know everyone in the club is.

"We are where we are in the league because we are a good team, and can we do it, I believe we can."
