Bristol City goalkeeper Adriano Basso believes his side have what it takes to dent the Potters promotion hopes when the Robins visit the Britannia Stadium on Saturday.

City currently sit one point ahead of Gary Johnson's side and the Brazilian stopper insists they need three wins starting this weekend.

"If we want to win promotion we must think about winning every single game we play," says Adriano.

"We don't know the future and we don't know what is going to happen.

"At the moment the table is so tight so when a team doesn't win it becomes a more difficult situation.

"If we don't win the game we get more pressure on us so we must try and win the game.

"We've got to prepare ourselves not to lose."

With Tony Pulis' side currently at the summit of the Championship, the Bristol keeper says that wont daunt his side as they have already proven they can live with the big boys.

"Our team has proved against big clubs and big challenges that we do well," he says.

"I think that this game is going to be no different and I think that we can prove that we can play well against big clubs.

"It's an opportunity for us to pass them and I think it is the most important game of our season.

"We have to prepare ourselves properly and believe in ourselves.

"We have to help each other to get more confidence so we can go and win the game."
