City star Glenn Whelan is one of four players shortlisted for the Coca-Cola Championship Powerade Player of the Month Award for April.

The classy midfielder put in a number of impressive performances for the Potters, and scored an outstanding goal against Crystal Palace in front of the SKY television camera's.

Glenn will be hoping to be the third Potter to pick up the award after Ryan Shawcross and Liam Lawrence picked it up earlier in the season.

Other competitors for the accolade are:

Ian Ashbee - Hull City
Zoltan Gera - West Bromwich Albion

The winner will be announced live on Sky Sports Big League Weekend 2 at 6:45pm on Monday evening.
