In the 2006/2007 Uefa Cup competition Osasuna reached the semi finals, beating the likes of Rangers and and German side Bayern Leverkusen along the way and were only defeated in the semi - finals by eventual winners and defending champions Sevilla, then managed by current Spurs boss Juande Ramos.
Yet Osasuna could not continue there recent form last season and a very disappointing season ended in a lowly 17th position and José Ángel "Cuco" Ziganda and his team will be looking to improve fortunes and reach the highest they achieved under previous manager Javier Aguirre.
