A feisty young Ulsterman snapped up from St. Andrews FC in 2004.
Robert made two first-team appearances, both as a second-half substitute, in 2005/06.
Having captained the Academy side and established himself as a regular in the reserves, he also forced his way into the Northern Ireland international set-up, representing his country at under-19 level.
A tough-tackling central midfield player with an eye for goal, Rob spent the latter stages of the 2006/07 season on loan at Wrexham, helping them to survive relegation to the Conference.
